Ever since I first picked up a camera (I was five), I’ve been hooked on the magic of filmmaking. There’s something incredible about teaming up with a bunch of creatives to turn ideas into visual stories—we all bring something unique to the table, and that’s what makes it so special.

Cinematography feels like painting to me, but instead of brushes, I get to play with light, color, and lenses. I love figuring out how to use these tools to enhance the drama and highlight those key moments that make a story memorable. Whether it’s experimenting with dynamic camera movements or diving into the latest film tech & AI, I’m always eager to learn and try new things. And when it comes to color grading in post-production, I often jump in headfirst because I enjoy seeing how it all comes together.

One of the milestones in my journey was working on the web series WISHLIST. Shooting and grading it (as a student) was a crazy experience, and it even picked up big awards like Deutscher Fernsehpreis, Grimme-Preis, and Webvideopreis! That opened up opportunities to work on bigger projects like SCHATTENMOOR for ProSieben, ALMANIA for ARD, the Amazon Prime Original TRUNK or Julien Bam’s DER MANN IM MOND.

Between those larger projects, I like to keep busy with music videos and short films. A favorite of mine is Jay Samuelz' GRIND or the shortfilm AMONG US, which has surprisingly gathered over 11 million views on YouTube!

If you share a passion for filmmaking, have some thoughts on movies, or just want to geek out about film tech, I’d love to connect. I’m always up for grabbing a coffee and having a good chat!
